I am Chairman of the Tavistock & District Ring & Ride, who provide transport for the isolated, elderly and disabled. One of our passengers accidentally locked themselves out of their house and Rocks & Locks came all the way over from Launceston to Tavistock at very short notice and got them back into the house. Many, many thanks for the excellent, speedy and courteous service.

While there wasn't exactly what I wanted at the time, since I turned up rather than calling ahead, upon entering the shop it was full of useful electronics and pc components such as the latest low end to top tier gaming graphics cards and other parts, credit for both PlayStation and Xbox aswell as peripherals such as keyboards and computer mice were available

I rely heavily on my laptop, so it's potentially a major nuisance when something goes wrong. When I explained the urgency, I received an assurance from Colin that he would do his best to ensure a quick resolution. Less than 90 minutes later I received a phone call to say that the laptop was ready to collect. Amazing service and at a bargain price. Thanks.

I was nervous when I first started driving and Jason was the perfect instructor, he also helped me with my theory in which I passed first time with flying colours. Also his lessons are so much more than just driving. He doesn't make you just sit by the side of a road in his classes, he is happy, relaxed and perfect instructor. He teaches you more than just what is on the test. But what to do in case of emergencies. After I passed my test I ended up in an emergency which was totally out of my control, which could have been life and death. Because of Jason going that extra mile and explaining what to do if this happened, everyone came out safely, no bumps or collisions. I could not recommend him highly enough and count him not just as an amazing instructor but a friend.

Brilliant driving instructor! I was very nervous when starting to learn but Jason quickly put my mind at ease and I soon felt very comfortable learning. Every mistake I've made he has explained to me and showed me a way around making that mistake again. Cannot fault his teaching, such a calm guy. Easy to get on with and very comforting for new drivers. Pure brilliancy from beginning to end!

The team at Stags, Launceston, have clearly grasped the modern concept of estate agency. They have been efficient and friendly, liaising with ourselves, the buyers and the solicitors throughout the process. Weekly calls left us in no doubt about progress and provided peace of mind. Piers, Rosie and Greg are skilled professionals and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services.

Depending on the colleague that deals with your case can vary the service a lot. Initially we had several colleagues working with us, which meant we felt we were almost being harassed, which added to the stress of buying our first home. Some of the colleagues gave incorrect information and had a bad attitude. However as the process carried on we started to deal with the one colleague. Debbie is brilliant, she answers any and all questions and is upfront and honest. Overall the service is good and I would recommend, but do be aware of one or two colleagues who have incorrect information and don't have compassion during a stressful time.

Been a couple times now and have loved both experiences, knew what I wanted better than I did and gave me what I asked for while adding a trendy twist that got me extra compliments from peers, with the cost for a simple men's hair cut the same as the other hair dressers in Launceston the service is comparatively better. With my social anxiety I don't generally talk to people l yet I found myself deep in conversation the entire time, it was great!

My sister and i went cycling stopped for coffee and cake i found it expensive for what i was there are cheaper places in launceston town centre but it was ok

used these guys multiple times for my restaurant art work, always great they bring all my projects to a clean finished design every time.

We gave Phil a difficult job, mounting and framing a silk scarf. He went to the trouble of sourcing a special backing, so the silk would lay fla , not stretch or buckle. I was unsure how it would turn out and anxious because it seemed a considerable investment of our hard earned cash. I need not have worried, Phil took so much care and time getting it perfect that the cost became irrelevant and the finished job exceeded expectations. We have used other framers in the past but Phil’s expertise and professionalism outstrips them all. We go back again and again with things and his framing can elevates the humblest peice. You can hand over your precious and treasured pictures with confidence. Highly recommended. .

Had food from here on more then 1 occasion always found it to be tasty

For pizza or fast food chicken this is my first choice, while I live outside of Launceston in Polyphant for a minimum price of 20quid they will deliver which is convenient and preferred, pizzas aren't too expensive and the popcorn chicken is tasty and arguably too much for one person to eat, though I'm not complaining about that!

The food is pleasant and entirely edible but not in my opinion does not represent the best Chinese cuisine available in Launceston. Perhaps they were having an off day but when I went I was able to to deduce quite easily that they were using oil which was not fresh. There was a cloying taste in the chips which accompanied my sweet and sour meal. The sweet and sour was very good however. As an addendum.. I revisited the Chung Hong recently was pleasantly surprised I had the House Special Chow Mein and also a banana fritter.. Both were cooked to a much more acceptable standard than an earlier visit.. Is this the best Chow Mein available in Launceston.? Well on the day I was really pleased to be eating here and will go again.

Although tucked away in a corner under an arch, it is a superb takeaway.

It's a pizza, burger, chicken wraps,cheesy chips takeaway. My kids love it. I really like the pizzas from here. Staff are quick, efficient and friendly. You never have to wait too long. They do local home delivery for orders over £10.

We have used CVG before with previous pets and have always found them very professional. Also friendly and helpful. Recently took our 2 new rabbits there for neutering and we feel that they received excellent care. Dropped 1 star only because (in hindsight) it would have been useful to have been given the aftercare advice before the operation so that we could have been prepared for when we collected them.

Professional, curious and empathetic in the not so happy moments. Like any vet it cost to have such a good service, I personally feel my animals deserve the best chance and believe all the staff work hard to do just that.

Easy to find open all day and weekends the staff are very caring and friendly including reception the practice is very clean and they explain proceedures and medication well and are very honest they will not go ahead with anything until you are happy including the cost they always have time for your pet and you I have had two rabbits neutered here and it was 1st class service would highly recommend this vet.

Amazingly outstanding vets and staff. They all go above and beyond and this is not just a job for any of them. They all really care for the animals and owners
